The Great Brat-ish Bake Off

My graduate cohort and I had one week to conceive of, research, design, fabricate, and run a fully-functioning Halloween-themed escape room. We landed on a retelling of Hansel and Gretel from the witch's point of view. Participants had to recapture the escaped children in time for the witch to bake them.

Design Challenges

  • Leading a team of four graphic designers, some of whom were still learning Adobe Illustrator

  • Coordinating with the Games Lead and the Install Lead to ensure a cohesive product across concurrent deadlines and a rapid production timeline

  • Remembering to take pictures of the final product!
